This is a very large Ajoite and Papagoite specimen from the Messina Mine in South Africa! It measures 11.3 x 8.8cm! Pieces of this size are very rare, especially in this quality. The quartz is very lustrous and very well preserved from this mine. It’s extremely rare to find both Ajoite and Papagoite together in the same piece because on the market it’s non existent. When looking for other specimens of this caliber there were no other pieces. This piece has small wonderful crysals shooting out of the base of the piece all over. They really add to the character of this piece. It stands up perfectly on its own and would be the highlight of any Messina Mine collection.
